Study of the Healing Effect of Concrete with Supplementary Cementitious Materials after Early-Age Damage by Acoustic Emission Technique

The study on the influence of early age damage concrete its long-term strength development is great importance. In this work, 102 cubes with and without supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs) were prepared. pre-loading loading degrees 20%, 50%, 80% corresponding compressive at 3-, 7-, 14-, 28 d was applied to samples. Then, samples further cured 270 d, tested by uniaxial compression test. acoustic emission signals during test collected. It found that pozzolanic reaction healed caused damage, incorporation SCMs after higher than ordinary SCMs. peak frequency can be divided into four intervals correspond different mechanisms concrete, namely: interval I (12 ± 5 kHz), II (38 III (171 IV (259 kHz).
